Monsters of Folk announce US tour dates

Rock “super-group” Monsters of Folk — consisting of Bright Eyes’ Conor Oberst and Mike Mogis, alongside M. Ward and My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James — are hitting the road this later this year, stopping at U.S. and Canadian theatres before heading over to Europe for several dates.

Throughout the tour, Monsters of Folk are working with music-based philanthropic group Air Traffic Control to donate $1 from every ticket sold to local non-profit groups.

Oct. 28: Omaha, NE (Holland Performing Arts Center)
Oct. 29: Minneapolis, MN (Orpheum Theatre)
Oct. 30: Chicago, IL (Auditorium Theatre)
Oct. 31: Louisville, KY (Palace Theatre)
Nov. 2: Toronto, ON (Massey Hall)
